Transport goes Beta
Yep. It's that time! The first round of VIRB Transport is ready for YOU! Go try it out, give it a whirl and don't forget to share your feedback. That's why I am releasing it to you, the readers of the VIRB Blog, first.
Run it thru the ringer! But... please keep in mind that this first stage is not for the faint of heart. We are creating other modules that will allow more simple implementation by way of image and flash-based badges, rather than just the current javascript method. So keep your eyes open. We'll be adding those over the next few weeks.
So with that said, here you go. The link that'll transport you over to Transport. Enjoy! :)

Nice work. I've got it running on my blog and it works smooth. All I need is to write in some styling for the DIV and it will be looking how I want it to.

Of course it doesn't work with MySpace…they don't allow Javascript.

Yannick- despair not, he mentioned flash based badges coming soon- then hopefullyy you could stick it on your myspace page… and begin gently luring your unsuspecting friends over to the superior Virb.

When I try to post the javascript code that references my blog entries I get this error :
unterminated string literal
Has anyone encountered this?
The other modules work fine for me…..

Well Leesa, maybe it's better to not have to much myspace folks here. Some of them are really disgusting. :)

@Jess
You should be all set now. Your blog had some characters that javascript didn't like.

@Matt Thanks! Should I be aware of the specific characters not to use?

What about music? Can I use this to add my Virb player to other sites?

Woah! this idea is so genius, and gives me so many ways to integrate my virb page with my up coming portfolio/blog thing! Best idea in the world, patent it, PATENT it :P

What about shows? It would be SWEET to be able to just post all of an artists upcoming shows to Virb and then be able to display them all on another site too. Preventing double work, that would make Virb even MORE my hero. :)
