Screencast: Edit Friendships (Part I)

We all have friends, and those same friends have mobile phones. Some of those friends might use said mobile phones for the purpose of evil, rather than good. The rampant texting, the onslaught of voicemails; you know what I mean. While I can't do much for you there, I can offer some disaster relief on the VIRB homefront.

VIRB has features built to allow you to edit who you see (and don't see) in your Recent Activity and Announcements. It's like call block for the Internet. Oh, SNAP! Please hang up and try again...

Hey wait a minute … did I see my profile picture sneak up in that video somewhere… yeah i did! :P :P

But seriously, I found the new friend-search feature last week and it saves me to much time to tweak these settings for them. Very handy. The tagging and nicknames are very handy.

Yeah, these are great new features!

One other thing that i'd REALLY like: The ability to block certain users from adding me; There's this one band that requests my friendship like once a week and I deny them everytime, so I figure they're just searching for people who like certain types of other music and adding me… But, I wish they'd leave me alone! :P

Actually I had a similar thing in the music recommendations as well; Last night someone recommended a song, I checked it out, didn't like it and immediately deleted from the list. About 2 mins later they recommended it to me again, so I deleted it. This happened about another 2 times, before I gave up and just left it there…. Would love to be able to stop that from happening – pretty little thing though I guess.

Keep up the good work boyez!
